When you are interested about the life of our community you can read a lot and entrench yourself in books. However, you can only find out for yourself whether the lifestyle of a religious and our way of life suit you by trying it out.

Does Spiritual Life Suit Me?
We offer regular events for all those who are intensively engaged in the idea of leading a spiritual life. These can be, e.g., spiritual days in the time of Advent or a weekend in the mountains. We want to give you the opportunity to trace yourself your way of vocation and to exchange ideas with like-minded people. In the Zukunftswerkstatt you will find time and space to deal with your questions. Accompanied by the team of the Zukunftswerkstatt, you will spend days with silence, talking and spiritual impulses. Would you like to get to know Jesuits directly? Then the information weekend is the right place for you. It will be about your questions, which might be like this: How do Jesuits live? What kind of work do they do, and how do they do it? What do Jesuits having been in the Society of Jesus for a few years or even for a few decades have to say about their vocation? What is the attitude to life (spirituality) behind it, and how do they live it in everyday life? You will also meet other young people who have similarly "crazy" thoughts and questions about whether religious life could be a meaningful way of life for them. If you want to know more about Jesuit life after the information weekend, you can experience it for some time. A local Jesuit community will invite you for three to five days and will open their doors and their hearts for you. You will have the opportunity to get to know Jesuits at work and at living together, and to lend a hand, too. Perhaps you are afraid that you will have to commit yourself quickly at one of our events or directly after them. However, it is important to us that the whole process of getting to know each other and deciding takes place with enough time, in freedom and without obligation, because we know that such a way of life has to be tried out and thought through. You can find out when the next information weekends and other offers will take place in our calendar of events.
